Asharn is made of katana-grade steel, gleaming finish, with a brass cross hilt and a clenched-fist carved black pommel made of a single diamond. The scabbard is made of leather with wood bracing. Asharn was taken from Galoriand after his death and was added to Varkar's hoard until the Slaying , falling after that into the hands of the Wyrmslayers. It was returned to High King Doronond in Belamir in 1602 by Surya of Tellare.
Asharn was entrusted to Eäráldur Volven in 1606, and was with him when he was slain in 1624. Whereabouts as of 2100 are unknown.
