1 18th May - When the grommet began to slip, I had to cut the drill and reattach it. Unfortunately, with #4, I was just a fraction too slow and there was a nasty crunch as the jaws mashed the bottom end of the pile taper. It looks crap, but there's enough left to hold the pile, and it still weighs 274 grains so I'll keep it. But choose it last!
19th May - it was not to be. The pile wouldn't go on securely, and so this is to be my first ever arrow set to reach completion with less than 12 arrows.
