Built by Tellare as a defence against the Desolation, Karshef was abandoned during the Elf Death. When the nations started to expand again, Enning's borders absorbed it and it has been rebuilt and strengthened as a defence against the Scorpion Empire. A tacit agreement between Tellare and Enning covers this, but the Tellarans have made no explict ceding of ownership against future expansion.
