Hildraft's great-grandnephew and acolyte, member of the Mergil Quest, present at the Slaying of Varkar, slain in Vorsand by Fae Mhor assassins, sainted at Kordasa
Vollun was always rather vulnerable to Fear effects, especially Dragonfear, and his nerve broke early in the Slaying; he was honoured for his part, but wasn't properly speaking a Dragonslayer.
Vollun was slain by Fae Mhor assassins in Vorsand, during Hildraft and Surya's occupancy of that city; the assassins were after all three in an attempt to prevent them fulfilling the prophecy and stopping the Kingmaker. Hildraft kept Vollun's symbol of Kord, later giving it to Jasselan when he chose him as the first deacon of the revived temple of Kord in Karennal.
When that temple underwent its' apothosis into the Kordasa, the humble prayer-sword became a major relic, treasured and honoured within the new cathederal. Vollun himself was elevated to sainthood by the new Church of Kord Triumphant.
