1 Back to the bench and the PVA. This is my “go to” grass but there’s a myriad others.
2 Using the fine dibber, paint random patterns of PVA onto the top of the grit. Less is often more here, you’ll be surprised how much grass ends up sticking to modest amounts of glue.
3 As before, make him a depression and snuggle him in, then gently shake to settle the stuff onto the top of the base.
This Army Painter Green is my favourite grass!
Leave him in there for a few minutes to let the glue soak through to enough grass it won’t be flat.
4 Gently shake off the excess, you can hold it upside down and tap the sides to shift the loose – back into the box, no point wasting it!
5 A gentle blow will finish this process. Aaand then back under the lamp or whatever.
