A Traveller campaign set somewhere on the Imperial Rim. The PCs are members of a platoon of Imperial Marines, operating a patrol of sparsely-populated worlds. Adventures may happen!

Players may pregenerate their own characters or take ones created by the GM. Generated characters must follow these rules:

• Human Imperial Marine; branch at player's choice
• Four terms maximum. If using my software, Skill Every Year may be used; Cap Rank at Private (E1) must be used - and no other switches!
• Ignore promotions higher than E1 (Private). OCS Special Assignments to be re-rolled as something else.
• All characters who don't gain them in generation will be allocated Combat Rifleman-1 and Battledress-0 skills.
• Positions within the platoon are available based on skills held;
  • Fusion Gunner. Requires Battledress-1+, (High) Energy Weapons-2+
  • APC Pilot. Requires Grav Vehicle-2+
  • Corpsman. Requires Medical-2+
  • Sniper. Requires either Combat Rifleman-3 or Laser Weapons-3
  • Troopers. No special requirements.
  There can only be one of each of the first three; there can be up to three Troopers.
• You can calculate your Mustering Out benefits; but you're still in the service. Take the money though for any extras (such as non-regulation pistols hidden in a pack somewhere). Weapon benefits can be traded for free examples of weapons you have the skill for as usual.
• Equipment is provided; uniforms, small kit, personal weapon (gauss rifle unless otherwise specified), combat knife, helmet, wrist/dot comms etc.
• The fusion gunner wears Battledress-14; all others wear Combat Armour-14. Telemetry and Unit comms are built in, but there are no grav packs.
