The kingdom with the largest land area, after the sucessful conquest a hundred and ten years ago of her neighbor Valmar, to which she is attached by a narrow neck. This may disappear in a few years which will probably restart the war.Cormar has more standing forest than any other kingdom, and thus more ships. Her warfleet is enough to stand off an invasion by any one other kingdom; the idea of an alliance between Marmark and Neudorn keeps King Calaewn awake at night. Her neighbors do launch occasional livestock raids, which keeps Cormar's soldiery busy.
Cormar's warriors are also the best to be found in Mereval, proud descendents of the fighting men of a vanished kingdom. Good metal ores are also plentiful, which means that the military technology of Cormar is better than her rivals' as well. Crossbows are only available in Cormar, for example.
