A baron and sorcerer from Erengrad, Mërn was sleeping off a whopping hangover in Urak on the morning the siege began. Dragging himself up to the tower where Dyrn Calibar, Tarn Gorshak and Vaslavi were commanding the battle, he offered his services as a sorcerer, albiet not a very practiced one.

A few moments later, an assault team  of Jezharrain daywalker assassins were catapulted onto the balcony. Mërn managed to cast a single spell and block an attack from a dagger-wielding Jezharrain before being cut down, along with Dyrn Calibar and Sionis, Maiden of Malkar.
