Varensen

City in the barony of Varen, north-eastern Stryre
1601

This mass of rock sat on the surrounding countryside like a mailed fist - solid, strong, aggressive, typical of the architecture of the Erlyid, for Varensen, like all Stryre's major cities, had been built while Stryre was a province of the Empire. Strong walls and high towers ringed the metropolis.

The Noble Fair market was frequented by the cream of Varensen society; wealthy merchants' families, successful ex-adventurers, and the nobility.
