Cyrn Lothlin is the nearest significant New Tellaran fortification to the coast, and was chosen in 1615 as the location for the creation of the New Tellaran Navy. Docks and harbours were built, both for military shipbuilding and commercial trade. Warships began to emerge from the docks at the same time that trade barques began to ply the oceans, first along the short route to Belegond, and then out across the sea to Viridor.
After the Elf Death, Cyrn Lothlin was left unpopulated, and when Belegond expanded its' borders north it was absorbed into that nation unopposed.
