The prophecy was voiced after a vision by the orc wizard Thend. Initially Sack refused the title, but later took it for his own purposes when he forced the orc warlords to join together and stop the Orcish Civil War. His actions later, in conjunction with Hildraft the dwarf, led to the return of the bulk of the orc race to their ancestral home and the fulfilment of the prophecy.
