Cullinan escaped when Galoriand and his companions imprisoned Cain; he was believed to be in Stryre somewhere. He was the mastermind behind the plans to free Cain using the Primal Weapons, and pursued Zero-One to Khundrukar, where he fought - and was forced to retreat by - Zerhal Avara.
Strong indications showed his subsequent whereabouts as the Fens of Korvux, associated with the Army of the Dead raised by Torunn Yalistair. This proved to be true, and he was finally slain there by the Sack and Surya.
