Almost completely ruined in the war with Varkar, the city recovered dramatically as a result of being on the main trade roads between Reital, Vorsand and Nasirolan.

The Elf Death almost completely depopulated Kelorsal, and it fell into ruins during the 1990s.
Set on a gentle rise, the city overlooks two nearby lakes, Tomar and Marendur. Three of the great Roads meet here; the one from the north-west meets one coming from the north and once leading south-east towards Reital. It was clearly once a splendid place, walled and with large central buildings. Now, regular mounds and lines in the grass are all that remains, with copses of trees here and there.
