Crixus the Great

Emperor of the Erlyid, popular, dynamic
1601

Rescued from the Cain vampires at the Jealous Wench.

Popular with the Erlyid people. He took Rolc under his wing after the breaking of the Vintares Gate plot. Family name is Crasia. Very fond of gladiatorial combats.

Crowned after his father Heredatus died in 1603, Crixus brought a new dymamic to the waning Empire. Despite some fears expressed by the Empire's neighbors in the south, he showed no desires to regain the lost western provinces of Nhased and Stryre, but expanded quite agressively north and south. Under his rule, the Empire has undergone something of a renaissance.

By 1655 he is in his seventies, wiser and slower, but still burning with the flame of Imperial renewal.

Crixus had a son, Fulvius, and three daughters, Raturnia, Quinta and Nureta. Nureta was married to Prince Cuitech of New Tellare.
