In the restructuring of Tellare after the deaths of Vane and Rhendal, Harker was promoted to General and given overall command of Tellare's bloated military. As such he was incorporated into the Suryan Council as Military Councillor.
His tatcital skills were demonstrated on several occasions, mainly against bandits, malcontents and the occasional incursion from the Desolation or the Trakar, but also at Valbet where he fought a pitched battle against the forces of Ariella's Rebellion.
He died in 1635
