One of two emissaries sent by the Elvenking Doronond to track down the rediscovered sword Mergil, Thraldor was a powerful young Elven wizard and a prominent member of the faction among the elves favouring a return to Alair and co-operation with the other races. He accompanied the party from then on and fought with them against Varkar, earning the title of Dragonslayer. After the argument between Surya and Doronond, Thraldor accompanied his people in their return to the Desolation. He was killed in the Scorpion Queen's coup.
