Keeper of the archives in the Basilica of Aderra in Stryre, Brother Librarian's exact age is unclear but is almost certainly older than anyone thinks. Though deaf and occasionally crotchety, there is nothing wrong with his mind and his curmudgeonly exterior vanishes when he meets people genuinely interested in learning from his books. He was responsible for most of the current knowledge about the Sword of the Dead Legions.He remains the absolute master of the Basilica library in 1655, so entirely right for his place that no-one ever questions how he manages to live so long.
No record of his death exists, though it is utterly impossible that he can have survived much longer than 1655.
