Sigred of Narthal

Deacon of the temple of Aderra, undercover agitator, sponsor of the Renders
1600

Sigred was a deacon of the priesthood of Aderra, nominally from Narthal in Stryre but actually with a fairly loose remit. He frequently operated under cover among the enslaved humans of the Dragonrealms, gathering information and working against the Dragon from within. He thrived on this dangerous work.

He was at hand when the PCs emerged from their 900-year sojurn as stone statues, and immediately recruited them, as the Archpriest had given instructions for a suitable group to be collected to search for the sword Mergil. He was with the group when they met and defeated Hrothgault of the Kin, and remained at the basilica of Aderra in Narthal when they left.

He reappeared some while later at a meeting of the Renders of the Dark in Karennal, where it transpired that he was a significant force behind that organization. Having met up with the party again, he joined forces with them for the Kingmaker quest, which he survived, despite being snatched by a subterranean kraken and turned to stone by a Beholder in the process.

After that, he was with the group when they passed through Belamir and met Elverandil; the two decided they had much to talk about and Sigred remained in Belamir when the party left.
