Wood Elves

Sylvan elves
-

The elves of the forest are far less interested in fixed dwelling places or things made by craft than their Noldor cousins. Viewed as rustic by some, they are in fact not to be disregarded, as they are more in tune with nature, growth, the seasons and the deep magic of the laws of reality than any other people of Alair.

Shorter than the Noldor, they average the same height as humans, and are of far slimmer build, though with a wiry strength. Their skin is fair, but their hair is usually brown and their eyes green or brown. Nimbler in the wild, if a wood-elf does not wish to be seen in natural terrain then, generally, he isn't.

Their social structure is simple; a hereditary king rules them as a whole, and each extended family has a leader to make daily decsisions. There is no nobility, though the Leafwarders, the nearest thing there is to an wood-elven army, are accorded great respect.

The wood-elves have proved less susceptible to the corruption of Sabath than their cousins, and the majority stand with the Loyalist elves
