Glum was born on the 8th day of Sólmánuður 706AD in the
village of Lilleström, Hedemark.
Whilst still a child Anora's family travelled far & wide as part of the retinue of her father's liege, a merchant of some success, in 521AD her father was released from his bond, having lived for several years on the road so to speak, Anora's family felt no call to return to their homeland & settled in trade capital of southern Sweden, Birka.
With good testament given by her fathers liege, Anora sought & was granted the position of scribe within the household of Solmund Silken-tongue, Rig-Jarl of Birka.
Assigned to the personal retinue of Solmund's son, Thorfinn Vigavagn Anora has, in a relatively short time become fiercely loyal to Thorfinn, when however the events of the 19th Einmánuður 727AD occur that loyalty is tested most dearly.
