Cararama, its like a monsters under the bed, every body knows their real but pretends their not, they can't be real models, to cheap by far. Actually their as good, if not better, than a lot of the expensively so called scaled authentic replica's on the market, reallisticly priced & made in the Far East just like all the rest, in fact their so good that Schuco, world famous toy manufacturer, is even selling them as a junior range.
Hongwell Toys Limited are registered in Hong Kong specialising in making die cast scale models and toy vehicles, offering a comprehensive range of scales 1:24, 1:43, 1:72 and 1:87 worldwide its registered brand "Cararama" is now pretty well established The former company A-Cheong Plastic Manufactory Limited was established in Hong Kong back since 1970, in 1997, more than 100 acres of land was acquired at Dongguan City where a purpose built complex was built with a total production area of 240,000 square meters, afurther 250 acres of land was recently acquired for further production - like I said there big & their going to get bigger.
As an aside Hongwell/Cararama don't quite understand the difference between Srs III, Defender's or Discovery's hence the box's are frequently mislabelled, well thats Johnny foreigner for you.
